The Artist: Pritt

Merging Eastern and Western influences into her R&B sound, Pritt's Tamil background has had a profound effect on her music. Embracing every aspect of her culture and upbringing in her music, we had an amazing time working with Pritt back in 2020.

Our first record with Pritt was 'Tunnel Vision', her first release in two years. Pritt's comeback was rubber stamped with some impressive 3rd party playlisting and latterly gaining her first editorial list - Fresh Finds: The Wave.

‍

Spotify traction was not the only victory of this campaign, with Pritt being featured in notable publications such as EARMILK, LeFutureWave and Music Crowns. Pritt's 'Tunnel Vision' was also BBC 1xtra's Introducing Track Of The Week.

Success was built upon further in Pritt's follow up record 'Identity', a hard-hitting single with eye-opening lyricism twinned with a hard hitting beat. With a narrative that rips through cultural and societal norms, it's no surprise that 'Identity' made waves with key tastemaker publications.

Pritt enjoyed the acclaim of a multitude of higher tier press looks. The track was described as a 'Potent and nuanced return' by CLASH Magazine, whilst TRENCH said 'Pritt's independence, confidence and defiance is inspiring, to say the least.

Both singles sit on over 40,000 and 65,000 streams respectively and are currently the most streamed singles from her highly impressive catalog. Pritt has gone on to do some amazing things since working with us, including being one of the BBC's Asian Network's One To Watch for 2021 and featuring in GQ India.
