lleo is uncomfortably honest. Their mind is messy, and they want their music to provide a safe space for fans to find solace in, and feel less alone. lleo takes inspiration from everything they see, frantically tapping away lyrics and hook ideas in the notes section of their phone - delving deep into the mixed-up layers of their head.
Under the crunchy guitars and infectious hooks, lleo’s tracks often have an underlying sadness about them, addressing the experiences and struggles that come with having bipolar, and the feeling of disconnection from the world that comes with it.
Having been consistently blacked by Earmilk, lleo has also gained support from Boyfriend Magazine, CULTR, Wonderland, CLASH, and more since working with us.
They’ve also gained support from Spotify editorial lists such as The Locker, Pop Punk’s Not Dead, X, and All New Punk. As well as streaming success, lleo has been played a multitude of times on BBC Radio One via Jack Saunders's Future Artists and Mollie King’s Future Pop.
